Accommodation:

This is our new loft. The loft is 11, 65 metres long and 2 metres wide and consists of 5 departments. For the widowers we have 2 departments were we could place 32 male pigeons. We also have 2 departments for young pigeons. We could place 50 young pigeons. And we have 1 department for the female pigeons. This loft is made of synthetic material and the inside is made of birchen plywood. This loft is build by Herman van Ostaeyen, one of the best pigeon loft builders of Belgium. But also in the Netherlands, Germany, England and other parts of the world. Lots of lovers from the sport ask him for advise, how to make their air clean. His lofts were build with a special system for making the air clean.

What you see here is our loft. It is Friday afternoon 26-03-2004, the young pigeons are coming outside. The weather is beautiful and as you can see, the young ones are enjoying it.

These young pigeons are 5 weeks old now and they are inspecting the environment. Some of the young ones are trying to fly a little bit.

This is our whole accommodation. As you can see it is not ready yet. The garden has to be finished and there has to come a pigeon bath. The water connection is already there, in the grass.

These young pigeons just stopped using the spoon. In this picture you can see how the widower loft look like from the inside. We made all the departments for young pigeons, because we have to start all over again.

At this picture you can see our run to raise our pigeons. The growers aren’t in it yet, because these runs are just made. Our growers are living somewhere else because of the renovation. At the end of July, when the raise season past by, the grower pigeons are coming back in their new paradise. Where they can moult peacefully.  And after that, the new brood tank would come in there. And then we wait for the winter raise.
